QUICK-READ EFFICIENCY GAUGES

Malibu Eco drivers get an instant read on their system status from two

full-color, high-resolution screens — one in the gauge cluster and one in

the radio display. The Power Flow Display indicates which mode eAssist

is in. There’s also an Eco gauge that tells you when you’re driving in the

ideal “green zone.” And the Auto Stop indicator in the tachometer shows

when the engine is stopped.

FUEL EFFICIENCY IN MIND

In addition to the wind-resistant styling it shares with the rest of

the Malibu family, Malibu Eco features aerodynamic underbody

panels that help reduce air turbulence. The bold Malibu Eco grille

houses active Aero Grille Shutters that close electronically so air can

flow around the car, decreasing wind resistance. The shutters open

intuitively, when the engine needs air for cooling, using only electricity.

To further increase efficiency, Malibu Eco sports low rolling resistance

tires that reduce friction.
