The Driver Shift Control feature

allows you to shift gears manually.

complete combustion of fuel, which helps improve both efﬁciency and power

while also resulting in lower emissions. Variable Valve Timing also boosts

STABILITRAK® ELECTRONIC

STABILITY CONTROL

Every Malibu is equipped with the StabiliTrak® Electronic Stability

Control System to help assist you with directional control of the

vehicle in difﬁcult driving conditions. Sensors continually monitor

both the path being steered and the direction the car is actually

travelling. If StabiliTrak® detects a difference, it selectively applies

brake pressure to the appropriate wheel to help direct the car back

to the path being steered.

4-WHEEL ANTI-LOCK

DISC BRAKES

The conﬁdence of a 4-wheel anti-lock disc

brake system is standard on every Malibu.

Ventilated front discs help cool the brakes

and maintain stopping power. An integrated

Brake Assist system is designed to modulate

situations, reducing stopping distances.
