TOP TEN FEATURES
1. Outstanding fuel economy – Every Equinox in this year’s
lineup delivers impressive fuel economy numbers. The
2.4L 4-cylinder FWD delivers an EPA-rated 22 city/32
highway mpg.
2. Excellent Value – Equinox provides comfortable seating
and a quiet interior as well as the latest technology and
convenience features that you would not expect to see
in a compact crossover. Premium features like rear-seat
dual DVD entertainment, 8-way power for both driver and
passenger seats, power programmable liftgate, Universal
Home Remote, memory for the driver seat and mirror, as well
as high-end audio systems and connectivity features are all
priced or packaged with economy and tight budgets in mind.
3. Exceptional Quality and Reliability – The Equinox was
declared again as a “Best Buy” by Consumer Digest.
In addition, Equinox earned accolades as “The Most
Dependable in its Class” by J.D. Power. Equinox features
world-class build quality and careful attention to detail.
4. Excellent connectivity with Chevrolet MyLink – Provides
a variety of features including a very bright 7" LED backlit
color touch-screen with high resolution, USB port and
Bluetooth streaming audio for music and select phones.
Hands-free smartphone integration is provided for online
services that include Pandora and Stitcher. In addition,
MyLink provides voice-activated capability for the audio
system and phone.
5. Chevrolet MyLink Radio with Navigation – Items provided
with this top-of-the-line audio and navigation system
include Chevrolet MyLink, 7" diagonal touch-screen display
and a GPS navigation system.
6. 4WD/AWD capability – Is provided by Equinox’s on-demand
all-wheel drive system which automatically delivers power
to the wheels with the best traction for optimal grip.
7. 3.6L SIDI V6 engine – While competitors like the 2013
Ford Escape and Honda CR-V do not provide V6 engine
availability in their lineup, and Toyota RAV-4’s V6 is
significantly underpowered, Equinox gets a new 3.6L SIDI V6
with Variable Valve Timing (VVT) and Spark Ignition Direct
Injection (SIDI) to provide capability, high output and fuel
efficiency. With this engine, Equinox LT and LTZ models
offer the most powerful V6 in their class.
8. Standard safety features – All Equinox models provide
a high level of safety with six air bags, StabiliTrak with
Rollover Mitigation, traction control, ABS and 4-wheel
disc brakes.
9. Enhanced safety features – Are available through the
new Safety Package that includes Forward Collision Alert,
Lane Departure Warning and rear park assist. These safety
features are standard on LTZ.
10. Power Convenience Package – Adds to the functionality and
capability of the Equinox 2LT by providing the new 8-way
power passenger seat, new Universal Home Remote and the
programmable liftgate in a single, economical package.
